The Airforwarders Association (AfA) has praised the new trade deal between the U.S. and India, highlighting the benefits of reduced tariffs for global trade and supply chain stability. The deal is expected to enhance trade flows, lower costs for businesses and consumers, and create a more predictable environment for forwarders and shippers. AfA's Executive Director, Brandon Fried, emphasized that lower tariffs will positively impact trade and job stability, while also calling for a more stable policy framework to ease planning for forwarders. The Association plans to advocate for supportive trade policies and will address these issues at an upcoming conference.
