Silk Way West Airlines has received its fourth Boeing 777 freighter as part of a fleet renewal initiative, which aims to modernize its long-haul cargo operations. This aircraft, arriving from Seattle, is one of six Boeing 777 freighters ordered by the airline, following the retirement of two older Boeing 747-400 Freighters. President Wolfgang Meier emphasized the airline's commitment to fleet development, highlighting the benefits of newer aircraft in enhancing performance and sustainability. The airline plans to further modernize its fleet with additional Airbus A350 and Boeing 777-8 freighters by 2030, aiming for a total of 20 wide-body aircraft.
