Finnair Cargo will assume control of the operations at Helsinki's Cargo COOL terminal.

Finnair Cargo will insource its operations at the Cargo COOL terminal in Helsinki Airport, taking over from Swissport Finland on January 1, 2027. Approximately 150 employees from Swissport will join Finnair Cargo, maintaining their current employment status. The decision to end the service agreement with Swissport, effective at the end of this year, aims to enhance operational efficiency and support growth. Finnair Cargo's workforce will increase from around 110 to over 260 employees, strengthening its position as a leading air cargo carrier in northern Europe.
