Cathay reaches another significant year.

In 2025, Cathay achieved significant growth in its Corporate Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) Programme, with commitments from corporate and cargo clients more than doubling compared to 2024, totaling around 17,400 tonnes of SAF. This effort, supported by 17 global partners, aims to reduce approximately 54,600 tonnes of CO2 emissions. New partnerships, including one with Microsoft, and ongoing collaborations with key suppliers have bolstered SAF adoption. Cathay's CEO emphasized the importance of collective action for decarbonization and highlighted initiatives to engage individual travelers in sustainability efforts.
