Bosta has launched the largest automated sorting machine in the Middle East in Cairo, investing over USD 5 million to enhance parcel capacity and support e-commerce growth. The facility aims to improve delivery efficiency amid rising online retail volumes, processing 11,000 parcels per hour and over 250,000 daily across 50 hubs. CEO Mohamed Ezzat emphasized the importance of automation for speed and accuracy, projecting a surge in parcel handling from 37 million in 2025 to over 80 million in 2026. The expansion aligns with government efforts to boost logistics and entrepreneurship in Egypt’s digital economy.
