Maersk has launched a 165,000 sq ft ground freight facility in Fontana, California, aimed at enhancing its North American logistics network and facilitating improved trucking and distribution in Southern California. Operating 24/7 with 22 docks and a fleet of 18 vehicles, the site can cut turnaround times by up to five hours and provides access to key transport corridors. This hub connects with Maersk’s existing logistics services, extends coverage across California, and supports community initiatives. Maersk operates over 65 freight facilities in North America and employs around 100,000 globally.
