In December 2025, global air cargo demand surged by 4.3% year-on-year, primarily driven by international traffic, with notable growth in Asia Pacific (10.7%) and Africa (10.1%), while the Americas saw a decline. For the entire year, demand rose by 3.4%, indicating a shift toward stability, aided by e-commerce and supply chain adjustments. Asia Pacific led with an 8.4% increase, whereas North America experienced a 2.2% contraction. Despite jet fuel prices dropping, cargo yields fell by 2.6%, highlighting a market increasingly influenced by international flows and regional demand variations.
