Zvi Schreiber has officially stepped down as CEO of Freightos, marking the end of a 14-year tenure that began when he founded the company in 2012. His departure, effective January 31, 2026, follows a succession announcement made in December 2025. Schreiber, who launched Freightos to address issues in freight quoting, successfully scaled it into a leading digital international freight booking platform. He expressed pride in the company's accomplishments while acknowledging ongoing challenges. Pablo Pinillos, CFO, will take over as interim CEO as the board searches for a permanent replacement, while Schreiber remains a non-executive board member.
