Hellmann Worldwide Logistics has appointed Jan Bierewirtz as the new Head of Sales E-Commerce to enhance its international market presence, particularly with the launch of its cross-border solution, 'near', starting in February. Bierewirtz brings over 20 years of experience in cross-border shipping and global supply chains, having previously held significant roles at OOCL Logistics, Kerry Logistics, and Hermes Germany. The 'near' service aims to provide an end-to-end logistics solution for the fashion and consumer goods sectors, covering warehousing, fulfillment, delivery, and returns management, addressing the complexities of global e-commerce.
