UPS is set to eliminate up to 30,000 operational roles and initiate a voluntary driver buyout program to adapt to reduced delivery volumes from Amazon, aiming for $3 billion in savings this year. This follows last year's cut of 48,000 positions and the closure of 93 buildings. With expectations of losing another million Amazon packages daily in 2026, UPS's domestic revenue fell by 3.2% in Q4. However, improvements are anticipated after the Amazon volume decline, alongside a renewed agreement with the U.S. Postal Service to enhance financial performance.
