Cathay Cargo transports 60 showjumping horses from Europe to Hong Kong.

Cathay Cargo has successfully transported around 60 elite showjumping horses from Europe to Hong Kong for the Longines Hong Kong International Horse Show, scheduled for 30 January to 1 February 2026. Utilizing its Live Animal solution, Cathay Cargo ensured a safe and stress-free journey for the horses. The logistics team managed a 12-hour flight from Liège, Belgium, chosen for its strategic location and facilities. The horses flew on a chartered Boeing 747, which offered a spacious and climate-controlled environment, ensuring they arrived calm and ready to compete.
