Lufthansa Cargo is enhancing its freighter network by introducing regular flights to Rome and Algiers starting February 2026. The Frankfurt-Rome route will operate weekly on Saturdays, while flights to Algiers will commence on Tuesdays. This expansion emphasizes the strategic role of Rome as a hub, offering customers improved transport options through ITA Airways and road services. Lufthansa Cargo now connects seven destinations in the Middle East and Africa, aiming for faster, reliable logistics. The network includes 22 destinations and supports a global reach through its European hubs.
