Roland Weil assumes an important position as WFS expands its presence in Frankfurt.

Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) has appointed Roland Weil as Vice President of Business Development for its E-commerce & Freight Forwarder Handling (EFFH) services in Frankfurt. This move comes as WFS prepares to expand its operations at Frankfurt Airport, including the lease of two warehouses starting in January 2026, to accommodate growing freight volumes. Weil, who brings 40 years of experience in aviation and air cargo, previously served as Vice President Sales Cargo at Frankfurt Airport. His expertise will aid WFS in enhancing its freight forwarding and e-commerce capabilities at this critical air cargo hub.
