In 2025, Singapore Changi Airport achieved a significant cargo milestone, handling 2.08 million tonnes of airfreight, a 4.5% increase from the previous year. This growth was driven by higher exports, imports, and transshipments, bolstered by strong shipping activity and ongoing global supply chain demand. China was the top air cargo market, followed by the USA, Australia, Hong Kong, and India. The airport also enhanced its freighter network with new services from JD Airlines and Turkish Cargo, and FedEx Express expanded operations to Anchorage, reinforcing Singapore's position as a key air cargo hub.
