H&M Group has announced it will cease sourcing new down feathers and will instead rely on recycled materials, aiming to exclusively use post-consumer recycled down by the end of 2025. Currently, around 90% of the down and feathers in its products are already from recycled sources. This move aligns with H&M's goal to utilize sustainably sourced materials. The decision follows a campaign by PETA urging consumers to avoid down products, and PETA has praised H&M’s action as a significant step towards an animal-free future.
