Ethiopian Airlines Group has confirmed the purchase of nine Boeing 787-9 aircraft, set for delivery between 2031 and 2033, to expand its route network and improve international connectivity. This order follows a commitment for 11 Boeing 737 MAX jets made at the Dubai Airshow, boosting their order book by 20 fuel-efficient planes. CEO Mesfin Tasew emphasized the airline's dedication to modernizing its fleet for better customer service and sustainable aviation. Additionally, Ethiopian Airlines is enhancing its operations with the development of the Bishoftu International Mega Airport City.
