Cargoland by LGG anticipates closing the year with its second-highest cargo performance, handling 1.32 million tonnes and over 26,000 movements, driven primarily by e-commerce. CEO Laurent Jossart attributed this success to the Cargoland strategy, which has consistently increased cargo volumes. The airport has expanded its airline partnerships and signed an agreement with Chicago Rockford International Airport to enhance transatlantic operations. With a 15% rise in staff and a focus on digitalization and infrastructure, including the ongoing development of Cargo City West, LGG is poised for controlled growth in 2026.
