Windracers, a UK drone manufacturer, introduced its heavy-lift unmanned aerial system, Windracers ULTRA, capable of flying up to 2,000 km with a 200 kg payload. CEO Simon Muderack announced this at the Windracers LAUNCH 2026 event, highlighting a growing demand for the platform in defense, humanitarian, and civil sectors. Already able to carry over 100 kg, the ULTRA aims to enhance operations in challenging environments like Ukraine and Alaska. The event, attended by UK officials and industry representatives, showcased the drone’s potential for long-range missions and its role in advancing unmanned aviation technology.
