Matthieu Louvot has been named the CEO of Airbus Helicopters.

Airbus SE has appointed Matthieu Louvot as the new CEO of Airbus Helicopters, effective April 1, 2026, succeeding Bruno Even, who is leaving to pursue other opportunities. Louvot, currently the Executive Vice-President of Strategy, will report to Airbus CEO Guillaume Faury and join the Executive Committee. Faury praised Even's leadership over the past eight years, highlighting significant advancements in the division. Louvot, a graduate of Ecole Polytechnique and Ecole Nationale d’Administration, has held various management roles at Airbus since 2010. His successor in the EVP Strategy position will be named later.
