Korean Air has chosen Lödige Industries to upgrade its cargo terminal at JFK Airport to enhance cargo handling efficiency on the US East Coast. The modernization aims to improve throughput, safety, and reliability, aligning the facility with current volumes and operational needs. Key changes include installing automated Elevating Transfer Vehicles, new cargo pallet movers, and updating fourteen workstations. Additionally, the project will enhance cold chain infrastructure by adding a refrigerated warehouse and renovating existing temperature-controlled areas, ensuring high standards for temperature-sensitive cargo.
