Kempegowda International Airport Bengaluru (BLR Airport) experienced a 5% growth in its cargo business in 2025, handling 520,985 metric tonnes of freight. The airport achieved a record single-day cargo throughput of 2,207 metric tonnes on August 7, 2025. With 37 cargo destinations served by 15 airlines, BLR Airport enhanced its logistics capabilities, particularly in agri-perishables, pharmaceuticals, and e-commerce. Infrastructure improvements included the operational Domestic Cargo Terminal and the AISATS BLR Logistics Park, further supporting cargo growth and future expansion plans for trade and logistics.
