However, by July, transpacific volumes recovered as e-commerce platforms adapted to new regulations, while other routes, particularly Asia-Europe and intra-Asia, saw significant growth. Prices remained stable due to effective capacity adjustments by carriers. Looking ahead, modest growth of about 2.6 percent is anticipated for 2026, influenced by diversifying trade routes and strong demand in non-U.S. markets.
