The Mayor of Miami-Dade County holds a ceremony to inaugurate the new Ibis Garage.

Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava, alongside local officials and Lemartec Corporation, inaugurated the Ibis Garage at Miami International Airport (MIA), a key component of the $9 billion M.I.A. Plan. This $137-million, seven-level garage adds 2,240 parking spaces, enhancing MIA's capacity to over 10,500 spaces, just in time for the holiday season. The garage includes sustainable features like EV charging stations and energy-efficient lighting. Lemartec completed the project six months early, showcasing effective collaboration and dedication to improving infrastructure at one of the busiest airports in the U.S.
