RZD Logistics arranges a trial shipment.

JSC RZD Logistics has conducted a test shipment of 40-foot containers filled with polymers for a major chemical company in the Samara region. The cargo will travel via a multimodal route, part of the International North-South Corridor, to Indian ports Hazira and Nhava Sheva. This trial aims to assess the feasibility and advantages of this transport solution for future export shipments. If successful, the company may adopt this route for regular shipments, potentially utilizing 1-2 container trains monthly. The director of RZD Logistics in Samara highlighted the shift from sea to rail transport as faster and safer, making this route economically advantageous.
