WFS has secured a 20-year lease for a new air cargo facility at Heathrow.

Worldwide Flight Services (WFS), a SATS company, has secured a 20-year lease for a new 11,000m² air cargo warehouse at London Heathrow Airport, set to be operational by 2027. This facility aims to enhance cargo handling capabilities and operational efficiency, featuring advanced systems to process over 160,000 tonnes of cargo annually. With Heathrow's cargo performance rising, WFS has reported a 28% increase in volumes in early 2025. The new warehouse will also support sustainability goals and create up to 100 jobs, reflecting WFS's commitment to the airport and its customers.
