The Cathay Group reported a 10% increase in cargo tonnage for November 2025, fueled by strong demand on major trade routes and robust export volumes from Hong Kong and mainland China. Available Freight Tonne Kilometres rose by 7% compared to November 2024, with total cargo for the first eleven months also up 10%. The airline's cargo business showed consistent growth, particularly in Southeast Asia, South Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. While a strong air cargo peak season is expected to continue into December, the airline plans to scale back its freighter schedule mid-month as demand begins to ease.
