FACL has obtained a contract for handling general cargo at Cologne Bonn Airport.

Fiege Air Cargo Logistics (FACL), part of the Fiege Group, will expand its services through a partnership with Cologne Bonn Airport, taking full control of general air cargo handling starting January 1, 2026. This marks FACL's first venture into managing an entire airport's general cargo operations. Christian Biesecke, an experienced logistics professional, has been appointed to lead the new facility. FACL has previously managed cargo handling at Frankfurt's Lufthansa Cargo Center and recently became the mail handling partner for Swiss WorldCargo at Zurich Airport.
