Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited has achieved ISO IEC 27001:2022 certification for its COSAC Plus cargo management system, making it the first cargo terminal in Hong Kong to do so. This certification encompasses the terminal's IT infrastructure, operations, and cybersecurity, emphasizing the importance of information security alongside physical handling. The initiative, which began in 2024, involved extensive coordination to align processes with the standard. Hactl aims to enhance secure digital interfaces for customers and will maintain certification through ongoing audits and training, reinforcing its commitment to cybersecurity in cargo operations.
