dnata and Dubai Police have inaugurated a smart cargo screening facility at Dubai International Airport (DXB).

dnata has launched a centralized smart cargo screening control room at Dubai International Airport, developed with Dubai Police, to manage cargo screening operations remotely. This facility allows police officers to monitor six X-ray machines linked to dnata’s digital cargo management system, enhancing efficiency and security. The consolidation of screening activities has improved throughput by about three percent annually. With over 120 airline customers and significant growth in cargo volume, dnata aims to optimize operations through automation and advanced analytics while reducing manual handling and fuel consumption.
