J&J Snack Foods is embarking on a transformation plan, Project Apollo, which includes consolidating its manufacturing network and closing three production facilities by Q1 2026. This strategy aims to enhance operational efficiency and is expected to generate at least $20 million in annualized income by 2026, with $15 million in savings from the plant closures alone. Additionally, the company is restructuring its distribution network, which has already reduced expenses by 8.3% year over year, and anticipates further savings of $3 million from its revamped distribution system.
