Amazon has successfully expanded its same-day perishables delivery service to 2,300 markets since its launch four months ago. Initially available in major cities like Seattle and New York, the service has now reached areas including Boise and Omaha. Fresh groceries have become the most-ordered items, with fruits being particularly popular. CEO Doug Herrington highlighted that customers are combining grocery orders with other purchases for convenience. Additionally, Amazon has increased its fresh grocery selection by 30% and introduced a Freshness Guarantee for quality assurance, with plans for further expansion in 2026.
