Emirates and Dubai Humanitarian have launched an airbridge to Sri Lanka to deliver urgent relief aid following Cyclone Ditwah. For two weeks, Emirates is offering over 100 tonnes of free cargo space on daily flights to support the transport of emergency supplies through Colombo. Initial shipments included fortified biscuits from the World Food Programme and other essential items from various humanitarian organizations. This collaboration highlights the strength of their partnership in responding swiftly to crises, having previously aided relief efforts in Turkey, Syria, and Pakistan.
