Stanley Black & Decker appoints a global chief supply chain officer.

Stanley Black & Decker has appointed Agustin Lopez Diaz as the global chief supply chain officer, effective December 15. Lopez Diaz brings over 20 years of experience, previously serving as the North America supply chain officer at Schneider Electric. His appointment follows the departure of Tamer Abuaita in May, who now acts as a senior advisor. Despite leadership changes, the company achieved a 31.6% adjusted gross margin in Q3, attributing this success to supply chain efficiencies and tariff mitigation strategies, which include reducing reliance on Chinese sourcing.
