CSX has announced that the 365-acre Westgate Super Site in Dothan, Alabama, has achieved Platinum CSX Select Site status, marking a significant milestone for the region. This designation indicates that the site is development-ready, having met various criteria such as infrastructure availability and environmental reviews, ultimately making it attractive for manufacturers. Since the program's inception in 2012, Select Sites have collectively drawn $16.2 billion in investments and created nearly 13,000 jobs. The Westgate Super Site is the fifth in Alabama to receive this status.
