Nestlé enhances its ERP system to pave the way for artificial intelligence and automation.

Nestlé has initiated the first phase of its cloud-based SAP S/4HANA deployment, aiming to upgrade its enterprise resource planning software across 112 countries for 50,000 employees, with full completion expected in two years. This upgrade will integrate SAP's AI-powered assistant into Nestlé's core systems, enhancing procurement, supply chain management, and order fulfillment. The company is also cutting 16,000 jobs, or 6% of its workforce, to improve efficiency and speed up decision-making through increased digitization.
