Etihad Cargo has partnered with LODD Autonomous to assess the integration of ‘Hili’ hybrid VTOL aircraft into its operations in the UAE. This collaboration aims to test the feasibility of using the UAV, which can transport 250 kilograms over 700 kilometers, for rapid deliveries between logistics hubs without needing airports. The initiative seeks to enhance logistics efficiency, safety, and sustainability while reducing emissions. LODD Autonomous' drone technology, designed for high-value and time-sensitive shipments, could significantly improve the middle-mile logistics sector in the UAE.
