TAM Group has been appointed as the cargo General Sales and Service Agent (GSSA) for Astral Aviation in Hong Kong and Macau.

Astral Aviation, based in Nairobi, has signed a Cargo General Sales and Service Agency (GSSA) Agreement with TAM Group from Hong Kong, effective from November 1, 2025, to October 31, 2027. The airline currently operates two weekly flights from Hong Kong and plans to introduce a service from Guangzhou to Nairobi through this partnership. TAM Group will manage cargo sales and marketing for Astral, enhancing its presence in the East Asian market. Both companies express confidence that this collaboration will strengthen trade connections between Africa and Asia.
