Sichuan Airlines launches freight operations from Chengdu to Frankfurt.

Sichuan Airlines has commenced cargo operations from its Chengdu hub to Frankfurt, offering scheduled flights four times a week using its A330 freighter. Roland Weil, Vice President of Sales Cargo at Frankfurt Airport, expressed enthusiasm for the airline's expansion, emphasizing that it enhances Frankfurt's status as Europe's top air freight hub. Sichuan Airlines, based in Chengdu, operates over 500 domestic and international routes across various continents and exclusively utilizes Airbus aircraft, including a cargo fleet of six active planes.
