Cargo First has launched new cargo facilities at Bournemouth Airport.

Cargo First, the cargo division of Bournemouth Airport, has inaugurated new handling facilities on October 14, 2025, enhancing the airport's infrastructure with three ICAO Code E aircraft stands, a larger Customs-bonded cargo center, and improved access for trucks. This development, part of an investment program by Regional & City Airports, aims to double the airport's cargo capacity and bolster its position as a viable alternative to London hubs. With a substantial increase in freight handled, Bournemouth is emerging as a significant player in the UK airfreight sector, driven by e-commerce and high-value exports.
