Liege Airport reported a 23% increase in freight handling, reaching 334,956 tonnes from July to September 2025, with cargo flights up by 9%. Year-to-date, total cargo throughput increased by 14.4%, driven by robust e-commerce imports and a 26% rise in European exports. After nine months, the airport has become Europe's leading full-freighter airport, handling 961,640 tonnes of air cargo. A global air traffic survey ranked it among the top five cargo airports for freight growth, with a 29% increase over five years, highlighting its role as a key logistics hub in Europe.
