WFS enhances its Frankfurt EFFH services by signing a new warehouse lease.

Worldwide Flight Services (WFS), a subsidiary of SATS, is set to expand its E-commerce & Freight Forwarder Handling (EFFH) services at Frankfurt Airport, following a long-term lease for two warehouses effective January 2026. This expansion, driven by a 6.2% increase in freight volumes, will enhance capacity for freight forwarding and e-commerce, allowing the handling of up to 100,000 tonnes annually. WFS aims to improve efficiency for global freight forwarders and e-commerce shippers, while supporting truck shuttle services within Cargo City South and expanding its existing EFFH operations across Europe.
