Kalitta operated Big Twin's inaugural commercial flight for DHL.

The first Boeing 777-300ERSF Passenger-to-Freighter (P2F) aircraft, registered as N779CK, successfully completed its inaugural commercial flight for DHL Express on October 7, 2025. This aircraft is part of a seven-aircraft order delivered to Kalitta Air in September 2025, marking Kalitta as the launch operator of the conversion program initiated by AerCap Cargo. The B777-300ERSF offers enhanced efficiency and payload capacity, aiming to transform air freight operations. Additionally, DHL is constructing a new maintenance facility to support its growing freighter fleet, expected to be operational by January 2026.
