DHL has restarted the shipping of postal items from Germany to the USA and Puerto Rico.

DHL Parcel will resume shipping postal goods from Germany to the USA and Puerto Rico for business customers on September 25, 2025, after a four-week suspension due to new U.S. customs regulations. Business customers must use the "Postal Delivered Duty Paid" service for shipments valued up to $800 and provide accurate customs information. While shipment prices remain unchanged, additional customs fees will apply, except for gifts under $100. The PDDP service, previously limited to certain countries, has been expanded to the USA. DHL has updated its processes to comply with new customs rules.
