Malpensa is the venue for the U-ELCOME workshop.

The final workshop of the European U-ELCOME project was successfully hosted by SEA at Malpensa Airport, marking a key milestone in integrating drones into air traffic. Coordinated by EUROCONTROL and co-funded by the SESAR 3 Joint Undertaking and the EU, the project involved 51 partners across Europe, with SEA leading testing at Malpensa. The workshop highlighted advancements in U-space services, focusing on the transportation of biomedical materials and the creation of a U-space Sandbox to foster innovation. Stakeholders discussed regulatory updates and future deployment strategies, reaffirming SEA's commitment to sustainable air mobility.
