BNSF Railway is set to launch a new intermodal facility in Oklahoma City in collaboration with Hobby Lobby, scheduled to open in November. This 42-acre facility will enhance container movements from the Ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles to Hobby Lobby’s distribution network, potentially eliminating up to 40,000 truck trips each year, thereby improving supply chain efficiency. BNSF aims to support regional businesses, including farmers, with better access for exports to the West Coast while also implementing various network improvements for faster freight transport.
