Employees from the Port of Felixstowe collaborated with volunteers at Landguard Nature Reserve to remove posts, cordons, and litter. Earlier in the project, they helped protect ground-nesting birds like the Plover by installing these barriers. The Nature Reserve is a vital community resource, recognized as a Local Nature Reserve for its ecological significance and a Site of Special Scientific Interest due to its unique wildlife and rare vegetated shingle habitat.
