Cargo volumes at Liege Airport increased by 14% in July and 29% in August.

Liege Airport experienced significant growth in cargo handling, processing 109,370 tonnes in July and 111,491 tonnes in August 2025, marking increases of 14% and 29% year-on-year, respectively. Aircraft movements rose by 9% in both months, totaling 2,464 flights in July and 2,354 in August. From January to August 2025, cargo processed reached 847,551 tonnes, up 13% from 2024, with total aircraft movements increasing by 8% to 18,710. In 2024, the airport achieved a total cargo throughput of 1,162,899 tonnes, a 16% rise from 2023, solidifying its status as a key logistics hub.
