DHL Express has launched a €100 million gateway at Vantaa Airport in Helsinki.

DHL Express Finland has opened a new €100 million logistics gateway at Helsinki-Vantaa Airport, marking its largest investment in the country. The 16,000-square-meter facility, which doubles DHL's operational capacity in the region, features an automated sorting system that processes 6,500 parcels per hour and includes 90 loading bays with electric vehicle charging. Designed to be carbon neutral, the gateway incorporates geothermal heating, solar panels, and energy-efficient materials. This development aims to enhance parcel processing and support Finnish businesses in accessing global markets.
