The New Zealand Customs Service has partnered with WiseTech Global to modernize its Working Tariff Document, a key classification system for international trade, through a new digital portal. Announced on September 3, 2025, this initiative aims to enhance tariff management and provide border agencies with a centralized system for managing tariff data. WiseTech will also launch a free community edition of its BorderWise product, enabling users to access up-to-date tariff information. The contract spans seven years, with a focus on improving efficiency and productivity in global trade logistics.
