Swissport has named Hamad Alhemede as the Chief Executive Officer for its operations in Saudi Arabia.

Swissport has appointed Hamad Alhemede as the new CEO for Saudi Arabia, effective October 1, 2024. Alhemede, who has over 17 years of experience in the aviation ground services sector, previously served as Vice President of Commercial at Saudi Ground Services, where he played a crucial role in strategic development and partnerships. He will focus on expanding Swissport's services, particularly in air cargo handling and ground operations for Saudi carriers, while Dirk Goovaerts expressed confidence in his leadership contributing to Vision 2030. Alhemede succeeds Chris Browne, who becomes COO for the Middle East.
